When it comes down to it, leadership can be quite personal. Some are driven by the desire to succeed, others by opportunity, or fame or simply by money. But more often than not, leaders are inspired by a combination of elements that both create them as leaders and drive them forward as individuals.
This interesting TED talk with Richard Branson, Life at 30,000 feet, reveals that he considered himself a maverick. No surprise there! But what is surprising is his honesty and candidness. Well worth a few minutes of viewing this July 4.
