Nina Nets It Out

The life of a senior executive is challenging. It can also be exciting, opening doors and opportunities not afforded to everyone. Over the last fourteen years or so, I have been fortunate enough to see an amazing amount of change in the organizations for which I have worked. I have also seen tremendous innovation in the businesses of my clients and partners. And while some of this has been driven by the clever implementation of technology, I have learned that lasting business benefit requires a broad, systemic approach. There needs to be a focus on education, learning, knowledge transfer and change management. These all need to be matched with business process, innovation and “people” programs — leadership after all, is not an end point. Its task is to create the environment in which other leaders can flourish.

With this in mind, this blog will provide aspiring leaders with a forum for ideas and discussion. I will be investigating ideas, innovations and approaches to leadership. I welcome your thoughts on these topics or any other that affects the “nature of work” and hope that this blog can, in some small way, contribute to the advancement of women and men in the corporate world. Let the conversation begin!
